Holloway Event Co. (HEC) began with a vision. We opened our doors January 16, 2020 in the vibrant city of Knoxville, TN. With a small but mighty team by our side, we set out to redefine what an event planning company could be, rooted in integrity, creativity, and a passion for memorable experiences.
Just months into our journey, the world was thrown into an unprecedented time of uncertainty. As in-person events were paused, HEC adjusted, becoming a one-woman operation with Holly at the helm. Determined to serve our clients, we embraced the virtual space, reimagining events to connect people in innovative ways. This pivot not only sustained HEC but allowed us to lead clients through meaningful connections at a time when they needed it most.
By late 2021, live events were making a comeback, and we were ready. Partnering with local Knoxville companies, we helped reintroduce thoughtfully planned, safe gatherings, reinforcing our mission to bring people together in inspiring ways. These early in-person events revitalized us and strengthened our roots within the Knoxville community.
With 2022 came new growth and the opportunity to expand our team. We welcomed Drew as our CBO and HR Director, bringing his years of industry expertise. We also brought on full-time team members, coordinators, contractors, and interns, each bringing unique strengths. Growing our team has been an adventure, filled with fresh perspectives and dedicated professionals who help make HEC what it is today.
Meet Your Event Experts
In 2022, we embarked on an exciting collaboration, joining forces with two other agencies to support a global technology client. This partnership, known as The Trio Project, has allowed us to deliver over 200 events, proving the power of teamwork and collective talent. Together, Holloway Event Co, The Anchor Group, and OnPoint Events Group, are setting a new standard for scalable, high-quality event planning.
Later in 2022, we began working with a nonprofit client whose values deeply resonate with our own. Focused on growth, education, and inclusivity, this client trusted us to handle the logistics for their annual conferences across the U.S. Being a part of such impactful work reminds us of our purpose and our commitment to events that foster connection and progress.
While HEC travels coast-to-coast for our clients—serving cities from Washington, D.C. and New York to Las Vegas and Los Angeles—our roots are in Knoxville. Our office in Happy Holler, an eclectic and vibrant part of the city, reflects our team’s character and love for this community. With a strong base of local clients, Knoxville will always be home, keeping us grounded and connected to our beginnings.
Today, HEC’s core team includes Holly, Drew, Reggie, and Jamie, supported by our project-focused members Cait, Kyle, Tara, Zach, and our Trio Project planners. Even our founder's 15-year-old daughter, Serenity, is part of our team, interning with us and making this business a true family endeavor.
